Stephen Johnson

Stephen Johnson is a broadcaster, writer, composer, and lecturer on music. He is a popular BBC presenter on both tv and radio and the author of several books on music, including volumes on Mahler and Wagner. His most recent book is Music Lessons: Seven Composers and What They Taught Me. His compositions have been performed on the world’s stages by prominent orchestras and chamber music groups. He lives in the UK.
