Rick Moody was born in New York City in 1961. He is the author of six novels, three collections of stories, and multiple works of nonfiction, most recently The Long Accomplishment: A Memoir of Hope and Struggle in Matrimony. His work has been widely anthologized. He lives in Rhode Island.
