Though the NY office is not open at this time and we are unable to take or fulfill orders, our staff is working remotely and we are continuing to publish new books.
We encourage our readers to order NYRB titles from online retailers, including bookshop.org, which supports independent bookstores. Also, most NYRB titles are available from ebook retailers.
The NYRB Classics Book Club and Children's Book Clubs can accept new members, and NYRB Book Boxes can still be purchased; all are shipped from another location.

Najwan Darwish

Najwan Darwish, one of the foremost Arabic-language poets of his generation, was born in Jerusalem in 1978, exactly thirty years after his family was exiled from their home in the western part of the city. Since the publication of his first collection in 2000, his poetry has been acclaimed across the Arab world and translated into fifteen languages. In 2009 he was on the Hay Festival Beirut’s list of the “best 39 Arab authors under the age of 39.”
