Katherine Silver is an award-winning literary translator and the co-director of the Banff International Literary Translation Centre. She has translated works by Daniel Sada, César Aira, Horacio Castellanos Moya, Ernesto Mallo, and Carla Guelfenbein, among others. She lives in Berkeley, California.
