Collection: Janet Malcolm

Janet Malcolm  (1934-2021) was born in Prague and emigrated to the US in 1939.   She was a staff writer at The New Yorker and a frequent contributor to The New York Review of Books.  Along with In the Freud Archives, her books include Diana and Nikon: Essays on Photography, Psychoanalysis: The Impossible Profession, The Journalist and the Murderer, The Purloined Clinic,  Reading Chekhov, and Two Lives: Gertrude Stein and Alice B. Toklas in War and Peace.
