Andrea Pazienza

Andrea Pazienza (1956–1988) was an Italian comics artist. His first comic appeared in the magazine Alteralter in 1977, and in the next decade he went on to publish hundreds more, many of them centered around his most well-known character, the mean-spirited Massimo Zanardi. Pazienza died of a heroin overdose at age 32.
