Join the Top Shelf

New York Review Books was founded in 1999 with the mission of bringing lost classics back into print. That mission has since grown into a more expansive project: publishing both contemporary and rediscovered fiction, nonfiction, poetry, comics, and more from around the world. Many of our books are works in translation, and introducing international writers to English-speaking audiences has become a guiding purpose of the publisher. 

What links everything published by NYRB is a sense of discovery and a promise of rich, sometimes challenging, and often surprising experiences of reading. These are books that are worthy of your time; these are books that deserve a special place on your shelf. In the spirit of literary exploration that has animated our publisher from the beginning, we’re excited to announce The Top Shelf, a new influencer program from NYRB.

As a member of The Top Shelf, you will receive a seasonal newsletter featuring upcoming NYRB titles. You’ll be the first to know about online and in-person events and discount offers for you and your followers, and you will have access to a direct line for requesting early copies of our titles for review.
