Jay Jackson’s Bungleton Green and the Mystic Commandos, published last December by New York Review Comics, has been nominated for an Eisner Award in the category “Best Archival Collection/Project—Strips” alongside collections by Lynda Barry, George Herriman, and more.
The NYRC collection of Shary Flenniken’s Trots and Bonnie was nominated in the same category last year. This year’s awards will be presented on the evening of July 21 at the San Diego Hilton Bayfront Hotel as part of the San Diego Comic Convention.
