'I Liked Rex': Diane Williams with Jeannie Vanasco – Baltimore, MD

Bird in Hand cafe and bookstore hosts Diane Williams, “the godmother of flash fiction" (The Paris Review), for a reading and discussion of her new book I Liked Rex, a collection of thirty-six cunning, captivating short stories about the mysteries of life and the human heart, out from NYRB Classics this fall.

Williams will be joined in conversation by Jeannie Vanasco, essayist and author of the memoirs A Silent Treatment, Things We Didn’t Talk About When I Was a Girl, and The Glass Eye, all published by Tin House.
