Elise Partridge

Elise Partridge (1958–2015) is the author of the poetry collections Fielder’s Choice and Chameleon Hours, which won the Canadian Authors Association Award for Poetry. The Exiles’ Gallery, her third poetry collection, was published in April 2015. Throughout her career, her poems appeared in The New Yorker, Slate, Poetry, and The New Republic and were featured on Garrison Keillor’s NPR program The Writer’s Almanac. Raised in Pennsylvania, she attended Harvard and Boston University before moving to Vancouver in 1992, where she remained for the rest of her life.
