New York Review Comics will exhibit this coming weekend, March 15 and 16, at the Society of Illustrators MoCCA Arts Festival. Join us at NYC’s largest independent comics and cartoon festival, bringing together creators, publishers, and enthusiasts for two days of discussion panels, readings, and exhibitions.
Among featured panelists is Aidan Koch, author of Spiral and Other Stories (NYRC, 2024), who joins a group of creators, critics, and art historians on Saturday at 1pm for "Comics and The Arts," a discussion on the place—present and prospective—of comics in the world of fine arts. Koch also joins Linnea Sterte on Sunday at 3pm for "Comics and Ecology," a discussion of the medium's treatments of ecology and capacity to evoke deep time.
Koch will be signing copies of Spiral and Other Stories on Saturday at 3pm and Sunday at 4:15pm at the NYRC exhibition booth, located at table #69, where other NYRC titles will also be available for purchase all weekend!
Tickets required for attendance. Click here for convention floor map.
