Blackwell's Bookshop in Oxford, UK, hosts an in-store event with translator, performance artist, writer, and educator Haleh Liza Gafori to discuss and celebrate the release of Water, her new translations of poetry by the Persian mystic Rumi.
As in Gafori's previous Rumi translations in Gold, Water renders with fluid grace and moving immediacy these indisputable masterworks of world literature, drawing on the deep well of Rumi’s work to bring out the worldly wit and wisdom that accompany his otherworldly summons.
