Join us in celebration of Edwin Frank, founder and editor of the acclaimed New York Review Books Classics Series, as he is presented with the 2024 Friedrich Ulfers Prize. The laudation will be delivered by Geoffrey O'Brien with remarks by Professor Friedrich Ulfers (NYU).
The awarding of the 2024 Friedrich Ulfers Prize will be followed by the Festival Neue Literatur event, "Whose/Story Is History: Shifting the Perspective,” which will feature readings by and a conversation among authors Maaza Mengiste, Doron Rabinovici, Katja Brunner, and Sharon Dodua Otoo, and will be moderated by the festival curator Tess Lewis.
Attendance is free and open to the public.
