James McFarlane

James McFarlane (1920–1999) was a translator and scholar of European literature. He is known for editing eight volumes of The Oxford Ibsen and was appointed a Knight Commander of the Royal Norwegian Order of Saint Olav. He taught at King’s College, Cambridge.
