Frederika Randall is a journalist and translator of Italian literature. Her translations include Luigi Meneghello’s Deliver Us, Sergio Luzzatto’s The Body of Il Duce and Padre Pio, and, most recently, Ippolito Nievo’s Confessions of an Italian. She has been awarded a Bogliasco Fellowship, a PEN/Heim Translation Fund grant, and, along with Sergio Luzzatto, the Cundill Prize. She has also written extensively about the arts and Italian pop culture for The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Nation, and many other publications. She lives in Rome.
